Zeroing in on Function
This issue of The Functional Video Digest Series examines the illusive concept of integrated isolation. Like a piano, our function and performance can be ruined if only one string is out of tune. To tune a piano, each string must be isolated, yet integrated, by listening and comparing how it sounds in harmony with the other strings. Much the same way, our bodies can be restored through integrated isolation. Gary Gray, Dr. Dave Tiberio, and Bob Wiersma discuss the many ways we can use this to restore the complete function of our patients and/or clients. Additionally, Gary talks about functional transformation of soft tissue with Lenny Parracino and Dr. Vince Guagliano, together they reveal the importance of soft tissue as it relates to integrated isolation. For anyone to be properly evaluated, rehabilitated, or trained, a firm understanding of integrated isolation must be present.
